Keith Peterson is a member of the Florida, Indiana, and Kansas State Bars. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa, his Master of Arts degree from Bradley University, his Master of Arts from University of South Florida, and his Juris Doctor degree from Washburn University School of Law.
Keith is admitted to the United States District Court, Central District Florida; United States District Court Northern and Southern Districts Indiana. All state and federal courts in Kansas. He is a member of the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association, Polk County Dependency Bar Association; and Polk County Defense Lawyers Association. He became a member of the Florida and Indiana State Bars in 2000 and Kansas State Bar in 2008. Previously, Keith interned for the Chief Judge Pusateri with the United States Bankruptcy Court, Kansas. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. With more than 20 years as a trial attorney, Keith has handled a wide variety of misdemeanor, felony, family, and civil trials.
